How Telehealth Psychiatry Works in Georgia
Telehealth psychiatric care lets you meet with a clinician by video to discuss symptoms, treatment options, and progress. ClearPath provides online psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults ages 18–65 in Georgia.
Where you can attend
For a ClearPath appointment, you must be physically located in Georgia at the time of the visit. A Georgia home address alone is not enough if you are traveling out of state. Tell the practice before your appointment if your location changes so we can discuss next steps.
Visits are virtual; the practice’s mailing address is not a location for patient appointments.
Prepare your space and device
Choose a quiet, private place with a reliable internet connection.
Check your camera, microphone, lighting, and appointment link before the visit.
Use a charged device, and keep your phone nearby as a backup contact method.
Have your medication list, questions, and pharmacy details ready.
Tell the practice ahead of time if you need accessibility or technology support.
Do not join while driving or running errands.
At the start of the visit
Be ready to confirm your identity, current location, callback number, and emergency-contact information. Let your provider know if anyone else is in the room. We will discuss your concerns, review relevant history, and decide together on next steps.
If the connection fails, use the contact instructions in your appointment information. A video visit may need to be rescheduled if the connection does not allow a suitable assessment.
When another type of care is needed
Telehealth is not appropriate for every situation. In-person assessment, testing, or a higher level of care may be recommended. ClearPath does not provide emergency or crisis services. ADHD treatment at ClearPath is limited to non-stimulant options.
Booking and payment
Use our appointment page to choose insurance booking through Headway or a direct self-pay request through SimplePractice. Your specific insurance benefits and estimated cost should be checked through Headway before care. Follow the visit instructions sent by the practice.
